Bio | Being born and raised in Sarajevo made me a war survivor. As an orthodontics professor, I lecture about the craniofacial system’s growth and development. I stand for the free transfer of knowledge, and my author’s books intended for students are freely available on the Internet. Apart from this, social issues and environmental protection are also vital to me. To protect the environment, I use digital media and environmentally friendly hygiene products, and I have reduced the use of plastic in the office. I support humanitarian actions, socially conscious campaigns, and small local businesses. One of the important campaigns in which I volunteered was #jasammuzej and the EU coronavirus global response. Yoga is the ground of my private life, and traces of yoga are visible in my professional life (maybe it is better to say that yoga is my root). The style of yoga I practice is Ashtanga, which I started at Prana Yoga Studio with Mike AZ. I am incredibly grateful for his guidance and support, which continues to this day. I also owe a gratitude to Sandra DB and Tom R, whose teachings have profoundly shaped my practice. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I had the privilege of practicing with and learning from David Robson, Jelena Vesic, and Eddie Stern. Their wisdom and dedication helped me become the best version of myself, and I am eternally grateful for their influence. |
