Yoga Sangraha Teacher Training • In-person in New York City
- This year we are holding two in-person trainings, one in NYC and one in India. This is to accommodate the students who are unable to come to one of the other. Though each place has its charm, don’t worry about missing out on something if you can’t go to India, or can’t come to NY – either is fine!
- The purposes of the in-person training are primarily:
- To build community by gathering in person
- To allow you to practice teaching your peers
- To give and receive teaching feedback
- To expand your knowledge in a more intensive setting
- The daily schedule will start at 6 am and conclude at 6 pm in NYC.
- There will be a lunch and rest break from 11:30-2:30 pm each day.
- Lunch will be provided, but other meals will not.
- Our full schedule will be posted as we get closer to the dates.
- PDF Materials will be provided online. Bring your own notebooks and pens.
- Classes will not be recorded for video playback.

Who is this in-person training for?
If you are taking the Comprehensive Yoga Teacher Training 2025 and you wish to acquire certification then in-person training is required.
Cost
This In-person Yoga Sangraha Teacher Training Intensive is $600 not including your accommodation. We will provide a mid-day meal and tea/coffee. When you register you can choose your currency to make the payment.
Where to stay and where to eat
- You are required to provide your travel, accommodation, and meals
- We will provide lunch only each day.

What to observe during the training?
- The training will be fairly intense. You will gain the most benefit by being disciplined.
- Get at least 7-8 hours of sleep per night.
- Eat a clean diet – vegetarian is good, but if you are not vegetarian, at least try to eat clean food. No fried food, heavy foods, or an excess of oils, sugars, or refined foods.
- Awareness of your menstrual cycle.
- Please avoid alcohol & narcotics and do not smoke.
- Prepare yourself to be inwardly focused for the duration.
- Bring a yoga mat and cushion.
- PDF Materials will be provided online. Bring your notebooks and pens.
- Classes will not be recorded for video playback.
