Bio:Maura is a Chicago-based yoga instructor, with Yoga Alliance RYT200 designation. Drawing from more than 25 years of study and practice, Maura has cultivated a daily commitment to yoga, meditation, and ongoing growth as both a student and a teacher. Maura’s training includes 200-hour teacher certifications from YogaNow and the Chicago Yoga Center, as well as advanced studies with the Ashtanga Yoga Center and Yoga Education College. She actively participates in continuing education through workshops and training to enrich her teaching. Maura approaches yoga as a moving meditation, emphasizing mindfulness while creating an inclusive space where students are encouraged to explore their practice with curiosity, self-compassion, and empowerment.
